The Animates is an educational resource designed to be used in primary schools to help young people discover the exciting opportunities that exist within maritime and offshore sectors, while taking a look back at Liverpool’s rich maritime history.
Liverpool has always been a city shaped by the sea – by sharing this heritage with school aged children, The Animates Project not only deepens their understanding of the city, and the sector’s roots, but also sparks curiosity about the modern maritime world and how they may play a role in it in the future.
