Reducing plastic on board our vessels
As part of our parent company Bibby Line Group’s new ‘Project Compass’ sustainability initiative, we’re phasing out the usage of single use plastic bottles on board our WaveMaster fleet. The amount of plastic items such as lunchboxes and coffee stirrers on board our vessels are also being rapidly reduced. Using recent data from the WaveMasters we have calculated our total reduction (in KG) of plastic usage, and our methods to meet a target of 70% plastic reduction.
